I read somewhere that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught his daughter, Fatima, to perform zikr as the following before sleep:
Subhanallah (33x) Alhamdulillah (33x) Allahu Akbar (33x)
This is to reduce the tiredness that Fatima faced from house chores..
I tried that Monday night and Masya Allah, I was so efficient the next day and managed to even chill at night after all is done:
During the day I managed to:
1) Go to Low Yat to buy some stuff that we need for the house2) Cooked lunch of mee hailam for everyone.. (Both kiddos love it so much.. must do this more)
3) Rearranged the kids' room which involved dusting, mopping and moving furniture here and there
4) Ironed my clothes which had been left untouched since the weekend
5) Cooked dinner of sweet sour fish and sawi
6) Did some groceries, ordered new pair of glasses and filled up petrol in the car
Not bad for a day off, right? I even had time to do the bedtime ritual of reading book to the kids and play house with Ammar before bed.
So from now on, I hope to remember to perform the zikr every night before sleep. It really works! :-)

Agreed. When I heard about it I tried it too and it works. Now I try to recite them whenever and wherever I feel tired and alhamdulillah I can feel the difference :-)
